Teacher Training
at the Prancing Peacock
In a studio well known for its nourishing and peaceful space, this thoughtfully put
together yoga teacher training program, approved by Yoga Alliance, is the perfect
place to learn how to become a yoga teacher, or to deepen your own practice.
During the training, you will learn about:
- asana practice, alignment and assisting
- yoga anatomy and physiology
- the energetic body
- yogic philosophy
- breath work
- meditation
- creating and teaching classes for beginners and mixed level students in a creative and intelligent manner
- the business of yoga
- specialty yoga- kids, family, chair , restorative and prenatal

Looking deep inside ourselves, we laugh together, cry together, learn together and
begin to see a confident, creative teacher emerge! You will begin to establish long
lasting relationships in this tightly knit and committed yoga community of fellow
teachers.
Presenting a special project allows you to bring a subject close to your heart to
your training. Practice teaching begins the very first day, and you will find your
voice growing stronger and more confident each time, lovingly supported by all of us.
When we are close to the end of the training, each student will teach yoga classes
to the yoga community, getting valuable experience. You will also assist another
teacher in class to practice your hands on adjustments.
Listen to what past students have to say:
"Going into this knowing it was going to be amazing, it still far surpassed any expectations that I had. I could not have imagined experiencing this transformational journey of yoga teacher training anywhere else. The nurturing, supportive community and truly special space that is the Prancing Peacock, creates a safe and loving environment where you can let go, open your heart and find a place of peace within you and around you. This experience has truly touched my heart and soul and has changed my life. Thank you Liz and my beautiful yoga family for your knowledge, support and love."

"This training was transformational and has guided me in so many ways in every aspect of my life. I am very grateful. Yoga has opened many doors for me since my first class last summer. I am excited to discover where this yoga journey will take me, and am very grateful for the opportunity to have learned from you and the knowledgeable and supportive teachers at the studio. Thank you again for this opportunity. It means more to me than you will ever know."

mentor in every sense of the word. You created a safe, beautiful, enriched atmosphere with exceptional workshops and guests."

"Thanks to you and your efforts as our teacher. Your yoga studio and practice is a huge enhancement to the community.
You and your family have provided a beautiful sanctuary where the people of our community can come to find peace of mind, improve their physical and mental health and reconnect with their spiritual self. The benefits are so far reaching as this positive energy is then shared with all the people we make contact with in our lives. Namaste!!!!!!!!!"

"I want you to know how much being a part of the Prancing Peacock family, and participating in the Teacher
training
program has changed my life. It has given me the strength and focus that I lacked in order to move forward and make much needed changes in my life. As a result of this, I have been able to do so with purpose, and still have a great sense of peace, balance , love and joy in my heart. I have been truly amazed, as I have watched my dreams manifest themselves right before my very eyes. When I first entered your studio, I immediately knew I was sent there, as if taken by the hand and guided by an unseen force. "
