Broga: 4 Week Yoga Series for Men

4 Week Restorative Yoga + Reiki Series

Restorative yoga is a therapeutic approach where the poses are adapted to accommodate any age, body type and physical condition. Reiki Info + Energy Share

It gives them a chance to practice, and you the opportunity to try it out. Everyone is welcome to attend, practitioners as well as the curious. This energy is powerful enough to make change happen in your life!

The Prancing Peacock Book Club

For our next meeting, we will be reading "Dying to Be Me," by Anita Moorjani, available to purchase in the studio boutique.

In this truly inspirational memoir, the author, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body began shutting down. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience where she realized her inherent worth...and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was able to be released from the hospital within weeks...without a trace of cancer in her body!

Summer Solstice

The Summer Solstice is a time we should rejoice in the strength of the Sun, whose light promotes the growth of all life on Earth. It is a time to recognize that the choices we have made - the seeds we have planted in the spring- have begun to come to life and we must harvest and utilize the rewards of our work.

We will practice 4 rounds of 27 sun salutations. Each round will be dedicated to a different intention. There will be a fire ceremony afterward.

Reiki I Certification

Dog friendly dogs are welcome, no prior yoga experience necessary. Treats will be provided to humans and canines!

Dogs must have a current license and rabies vaccination.

Intro to Shamanic Journeywork

Shamanic cultures provide us with an ancient technology that has been (and continues to be) practiced all over the globe. The heartbeat of the drum and rhythm of the rattle assist in taking one into a light trance or meditative space to access the "other realm."

Reiki Master Certification

Prerequisite: Reiki I Certification & Reiki II Certification

When you find you are ready to take the next step, this nurturing and in depth 2 day class offers an opportunity to learn to teach Reiki. Unlike other Level 3 courses, this class includes learning how to actually attune other people to become Reiki practitioners - a true Reiki Master!

This is also a great course to take to greatly increase the intensity of your Reiki healing if you just want to use it for yourself and your family.

Students receive the Reiki Master power symbols and learn how to teach all 3 levels! Extensive instruction and practice is given on passing attunements. You will be given materials and ideas for your exploration into healing sessions and classes. Learn the business side of Reiki which includes how to start a Reiki healing practice - from intake forms and insurance to creating your own manual and certificates to developing a Reiki cliental and running a Reiki Share.

Yoga for Emotional Balance: 3 Week Series

Thursdays, 7:30-9pm, Starting April 19th

This workshop will focus on developing both inner peace and awakening. We will explore basic aspects of emotional balance vs. imbalance, discuss the science behind mind-body treatment and explore related yoga philosophy. Utilizing asana, pranayama, meditation, readings/poems, journaling and chanting, feelings of anxiety and depression will be reduced, bringing balance to the emotional body.

Students will move from feelings of isolation and disconnectedness to an experience of wholeness and trust in themselves, as well as a realization of their connectedness to all beings.

Taught by Kelly Corbitt, a certified yoga instructor and licensed psychotherapist. She is particularly interested in the way the mind-body connection relates to the healing process

Yoga can make a significant positive difference in your experience with pregnancy, labor/delivery and postpartum. With your doctor or midwife's permission, prenatal yoga is safe for women to practice in their 2nd and 3rd trimester.

Yoga Nidra is a rejuvenating, restful practice for inducing mental, emotional & physical relaxation, with the power to expose our innate reservoirs of creativity, clarity, and self understanding. Meaning "sleep of the yogi" in Sanskrit, yoga nidra guides students through awareness of sensations, emotions, and beliefs. This meditative class is conducted with students lying down or sitting comfortably and requires no previous yoga experience.

Workshop Cancellation Policies
Once you register for a workshop, your space has been reserved. To cancel the workshop, you must contact the studio (by phone, email to info@prancingpeacock.com, or in person) 72 hours or more before the workshop. You will receive a credit on your Prancing Peacock account. No credits will be issued within 72 hours before a workshop.

For workshop series, you must cancel 2 weeks before the start of the series to receive a credit on your Prancing Peacock account. Cancel within 14 days of the series and no credit will be given.

Should Prancing Peacock cancel a workshop or event for any reason, all fees will be refunded in full.
